Emmy Awards 2020 – Lista completa de todos os vencedores da 72ª edição

A 72ª edição dos Emmy Awards, a maior cerimónia anual da Academia de Ciências e Artes Televisivas, aconteceu na noite deste Domingo passado, dia 20 de Setembro, e consagrou os maiores destaques do ano em produções de televisão norte-americana.

O evento estava originalmente marcado para ser realizado no Microsoft Theater, em Los Angeles, mas devido à pandemia do COVID-19 passou para a arena Staples Center, com os vencedores das categorias a fazerem os seus discursos em casa através de videochamada. Jimmy Kimmel voltou a ser apresentador.

Neste ano, Watchmen, do canal HBO, liderou com 11 nomeações, seguido por Succession, também da HBO, com 10, e Ozark, da Netflix, com 9.

Os grandes destaques da noite foram a série canadense Schitt’s Creek, da estação Pop TV, que ganhou sete das oito categorias nomeadas, e Watchmen e Succession, que venceram prémios em quatro categorias.
